Medical pigmentation
Medical micropigmentation (dermopigmentation) includes treatments performed by a linergist in order to eliminate imperfections in the skin caused by surgery, illness or unfortunate accidents.
As medical pigmentation we understand:
– pigmentation of scars and changes in the skin tone, i.e. changes caused by vitiligo
In this treatment, the linergist tries to make the pigment introduced into the skin the closest to the natural skin colour around the scar or around the lesions caused by vitiligo. This treatment is used in the following situations: scars – post-accidental, post-thyroidectomy, -post-labioplasty, post-caesarean section and scars left after other surgical procedures.
– pigmentation of the nipple
It is a procedure in which the linergist reproduces the look of the nipple (i.e. in people after mastectomy) or for aesthetic reasons dims / brightens or modifies the appearance of the nipple.
– pigmentation of the scalp (trichopigmentation)
Pigmentation of the scalp is performed to visually compensate the effects of balding, i.e., androgenic baldness in men and women, alopecia and baldness as a result of other diseases, surgical procedures (i.e. scar after skin transplantation or after a neurological surgery) or as a result of an unfortunate accident that resulted in scars on the scalp.
Trichopigmentation is generally carried out using two techniques: pigmentation imitating the appearance of a shaved head (hundreds of small dots) and pigmentation imitating shortly cut hair (in this technique, we visually dense hair or camouflage thin areas i.e. in alopecia).
– pigmentation of eyes and eyebrows after chemotherapy, alopecia
In people affected by alopecia or those who underwent chemotherapy, pigmentation is similar as in the case of permanent makeup that emphasises beauty. The only difference is the fact that the goal here is to replicate the appearance of eyebrows and eyelids as accurately as possible and camouflage the lack of naturally occurring hairs within the eyebrows and eyelids.
– facial skin pigmentation (BB Glow Foundation treatment)
The aim of the treatment is to lighten and smoothen the skin tone of the face. The preparation we use during this treatment is “MESO FOUNDATION CAMO”. It is a serum designed for safe and intensive skin colour whitening and smoothing treatments. The treatment is recommended for people with dark skin tones, also to reduce the number of freckles and to camouflage sun spots, melasma or discoloration caused by acne or photoaging (age spots). The treatment can be applied on the facial skin and, for example, on age spots on the hands, etc. Introduction of the preparation into the skin is carried out using a device terminated with a special cartridge with micro needles. The treatment is not painful, we use anaesthesia. It should be noted that the effect of the treatment is gentle brightening and balancing of the skin tone lasting from 6 to 12 months – after this treatment, we will not get the effect obtained after applying the traditional foundation used for make-up. Such effect would be too visible and too strong, therefore after the BB Glow treatment we expect a very subtle, delicate effect. Avoid direct sunlight for up to 2 weeks after the procedure.
